Geraldine is out

I am all about the gossip and the inside story, but this week while watching Steve admit to his troubles of his past, something just did not feel right inside me. Steve has been a great candidate so far and I asked myself tonight was it really necessary to bring up his past? I came to the conclusion, if you put yourself out there on reality TV; you are putting yourself out there for a personal interrogation. One thing is for sure, the way he handled this question and explained his situation was deserving of praise. It show’s what an even stronger candidate this young man is.
As for Stephen Higgins! What an egomaniac! I really doubt that the young generation of Ireland are quaking in their boots at the thought of Stephen feeling he is the most talented of them. So talented Stephen, that you actually promoted yourself, resulting in you lying on your CV application? I think it’s time Stephen realised he probably has more potential to be Bill’s bodyguard than his apprentice.
Goodbye Geraldine. It has to be said Geraldine made good TV. Unfortunately she just was that tiny bit childish, bursting out into giggles of laughter when it wasn’t appropriate. I could see her falling into the trap of bad mouthing the other candidates the minute she opened her mouth. Once again my theory that she has a little crush on Bill shone to light with her describing him as ‘cute’. Yes, yes she said she meant it to mean sharp, but her body language told a completely different story. At least she wore a killer pair of heels to the interview, maybe she thought she could stick her left foot into Gavin Duffy’s eye when the going got tough. After all, there was no Breffny there to rescue her!

Totally agree with Miss Receptionist….eh why didn’t you apply for the Job this year…you seem to have more maturity and cop on than the rest of them. By the way I wouldn’t employ any of the final 3. I would have employed Lucinda.

Come on!! Stephen was in an interview situation, he doesn’t really believe he is the most talented of his generation. He exagerated like we all do in that situation. In the same way Steve is renowned as the world’s greatest salesman on the back of one good day’s sales, but he is the most deserving of the three for the job. As for Geraldine , how did she get here?, she escaped so many times purely by being on the winning team when she was so obviously out of her depth. If the fourteen candidates were scrutinised like this instead of putting them through some of the ridiculous tasks they had to undergo, the obuious finalists would be, Lucinda, Aoiffe and Steve, It just goes to show,Bill Cullen is not infallible. Or did Bill just want a salesMAN?

oh that stephen fella does my head in, he is just so cocky and ‘thinks’ he is god’s bleedin gift!! Did ya hear him tonight saying that he is the most talented 25 year old in Ireland hahahaha like come on for god’s sake, will steve or bill cullen or anybody on the apprentice give that dope a good shake and bring him back to reality…. Sad to see geraldine go, i taught she was one of the best and actually taught if steve didnt make it to the finals that she would win it…. But my money is staying on steve, there is no way in hell ‘mr.i’m better than everybody in Ireland’ has a chance of winning against steve….

omg! not fair geraldine should have won.she was a quick learnig and not cocky and arrogant like the other two guys.She was the most deserving candidate.As for that gavin fella he should be ashmed of himself acting all friendly at the start and ripping the contenders apart in a very unproffesional like way.

Stephen is a know all – needs to be brought down a peg or two. Sorry to see Geraldine go – what a nice gal. Would have like to see her is the final with Steve. Steve will go all the way – nice guy – he deserves it after last night for his honesty about his personal life – must be very focused to have done so. Who could say not to that grin – smile!!! He always seems happy!!! Way to go Steve – your grandparents from Laherdane would be very proud as we all are!!!

Geraldine will go much further in her future career than either “away with the fairies” Lucinda or “jealous rage im the only child and daddy gives me my way every time” Aoife. Geraldine outlasted both of them and her charisma outshone every single one of the other girls. She kept her dignity and didnt stoop to Aoiffe’s eye gouging tactics on her exit. Geraldine has the likeability factor and public opinion is outstandingly behind her as we witnessed on the “you’re fired” show last night.Its obvious that any Geraldine begrudgers are just extremely jealous. As for red haired Steve being in the final, now that is bizarre.

Hey Fiona, guess what, you can hire Lucinda! Bill didnt think she was good enough so she’s free! Does anyone know if the Receptionist is the same Receptionist in the show that seems to only do one thing, pick up the phone, put it down and say, “Bill will see you now” or on a good day she gets to say “You can go back in now”. I want her job, Ill bet she gets paid a fortune. Steve from UK to win.

Hi Jackie, Totally agree with your comments especially in relation to Aoiffe and how low she stooped on her exit. I think her comments about Geraldine were terrible, she really showed herself up and did herself no favours whatsoever. Evenmoreso when you look at how Geraldine dealt with the Aoiffe conflict on her exit….by not making any comment about it….much more dignified…maybe she is right..Daddy cant buy you cop-on in Trinity. Steve from Skibb to win.

I am sorry to see Geraldine is gone.She was a quick learner and I hope she will do well in the future. Stephan is very cocky and sure about himself. I don’t think anyone would like to work under this guy, he is not very friendly. Steve deserves to win. He seems to have a fantastic personalality and would do well in any situation. Everyone will be driving a renault next year. He will have the government money up from all the VRT, just what this country needs at the present time.
